Venue

GeeCON Conference will take place in
Multikino Kraków
128 Dobrego Pasterza street
(about 5 km from the city center)
There are several buses that can get you to GeeCON. The map below shows bus stops and bus lines near Dworzec Glówny (Main Railway Station). Click the bus line to see the timetable and look at "Dzien powszedni" (week day).

For bus lines 129, 152, 182, 125 and 128, get off at PARK WODNY.
For 501 line, get off at BORA-KOMOROWSKIEGO.
See the map above for locations of these bus stops.

It takes up to 15-20 minutes (depends on the line and traffic, 129 is usually the slowest, 501 the fastest) to reach GeeCON from the Main Railway Station.

Taxi

Taxi from the city centre should cost about 25PLN (6 EUR). Be sure to pick up taxis from corporations (they will have a logo and a telephone number), as there are also private taxis, which offer seriously overpriced services.

Traveling by car

You need to drive to the road number 79, which partially goes with E77 (to Warsaw direction). There is a free car park behind the Multikino building as well as near the Park Wodny

Traveling from the Kraków Balice Airport

The most expensive and convenient option is taxi, which can cost about 60 however sometimes might be even 100 PLN.
If you prefer other solution, you need to reach Kraków Main Railway Station (Kraków Glówny) and then get on one of the buses described above. To reach Kraków Main Railway Station from the Kraków Balice Airport, you can choose:

  • train - it takes about 20 minutes, the ticket costs 16 PLN. Trains departure every 30 or 60 minutes (depending on the hour). Time table is available here. Search for connections from Kraków Balice to Kraków Glówny.
  • city bus - there are two day buses: 208, 292 and one night bus 902. It takes approximately 40 minutes to reach railway station. You should get off at the bus stop named:
    • Dworzec Glówny Wschód, for 208 and 292
    • Dworzec Glówny, for 902
  • one of the rivate shuttle bus lines - ask for them at the airport information point
